Description

Whether you're enjoying avocado toast for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a snack, it is oh-so-delicious and oh-so-addictive!

Ingredients
  • 2 slices bread (for a gluten-free version use gluten-free bread)
  • 1 avocado (pitted, peeled, and sliced thin)
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • pinch sea salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • fresh lemon juice
  • red pepper flake (optional)
Instructions

    Toast a couple of slices of your favorite bread to a golden brown in your Toaster.

    Use gluten-free bread if desired.

    Halve the avocado, remove the pit, and cut each half into thin slices. Place the halves evenly on each slice of toast, then drizzle with good extra-virgin olive oil.

    Season with a light sprinkling of sea salt, freshly ground black pepper, and a shake or two of red pepper flakes, if desired.
