Oh, for the love of everything you’d like to sink your teeth into!
Can we stop for a moment and talk about how good these are? I mean, look. at. them! They’re delicious! Can you say “YUM”?
Apple Fritters
Description
These delicious deep-fried donuts are filled with sweet little apple nuggets and cinnamon and then covered in a sugary glaze (or powdered sugar). Some people call them cakes, some call them donuts, but I call them fritters.
They're amazingly delicious no matter what you call them, served with a light glaze (recipe follows), drizzled with maple syrup, or dusted with powdered sugar. I'll take mine anyway I can get them!
