Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Lightly grease a baking sheet or cover it with a piece of parchment paper.

-
Tofu absorbs more flavor if you squeeze out the water first. A Tofu Press
is an excellent tool for doing just that! If you don't have a tofu press, wrap the tofu in a clean cloth and gently press it down to remove excess water.
-
Meanwhile, prepare the marinade by adding all of the ingredients to a bowl. Stir until well combined, then set aside.
-
Once you've removed the water from the tofu, cut it horizontally into thirds. Then, cut each third lengthwise into four or five strips. Finally, cut each of these into 6 to 8 cubes, depending on the desired size.
-
Place the tofu into a medium-sized container and pour the marinade over the tofu. Gently toss to coat the tofu with the marinade. Allow the tofu to marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight if time permits.
-
Remove the tofu and place it in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes, turning it halfway through.
